Wednesday at Fashion Week Sydney

What a day! Usually, I'm not one to love 'Wednesdays' but this one was an exception! I had 3 shows today. The day commenced with the Raffles International Showcase at 2pm. Being a college, I was expecting a show which wouldnt have blown my mind but I was wrong. I was blown away! I fell inlove with Gabriel Lee's collection! He is such an inspiration & because of him, I chose to come to Raffles. Perspex, neoprene & embroidery ruled & dominated the catwalk & left many guests gasping for air. It made me such a proud student. It was definitely a show not to miss.

Betty Tran followed a couple hours later so in the meantime, I got my nails done by the absolutely amazing Maybelline staff! They were amazing. Shouts to Amy & Jade for being beautiful! Betty Tran embraced the catwalk with rich colours such as red & blue aswell as monotones; black & white. Sitting in the front row, I could observe the detail of each garment. They were amazing. The embroidery & beading was a show itself. They glistened & lightened up the dark room. Each gown was more like an art piece in my eyes. I remember getting chills at some of her designs.

To end the night at 9pm was the Swarovski show. I expected a simple installation of the jewellery & accessories. I couldn't believe that it was an actual show! It was phenomenal. I didn't know there were so many possibilities of design when it came to diamonds! The show started & ended with the fierce strut of Shanina Shaik. Fatima Siad was also amongst my favourite models of MBFWA. She lit up the room in every piece she wore! My favourite part of the show was receiving a Swarovski gift bag which consisted of a lovely diamond bracelet.
