Monday at Fashion Week Sydney

Monday was a day to remember for sure! I woke up quite early (4am) as my sister had to be up early at Johnny Schembri's studio to help with last minute touch ups for the his show on Monday. I got to Carriageworks at 6:45am! Can you believe it?! So early! It was definitely worth it though because I got to have a lovely morning chat with Nicole Warne from Garypeppergirl.

The day consisted of 3 shows by Aurelio Costarella, Strateas Carlucci & Bec & Bridge. Costarella's show consisted of vibrant colours, nudes & black tones. It embraced the runway with embellishment & frills. He kept it very classy & revived the colour blocking. Strateas Carlucci was kept monochormatic & emphasised upon structure & drape. I believe that as a whole, their menswear dominated the runway aesthetically.

Finally, Bec & Bridge. I was invited to the Bec & Bridge show as a guest but it was too full that I ended up standing on the ramp for a better view. The colour palette was very soft & blue with whites which simulates Michael Lo Sordo's collection. I would've loved to grab a seat though.
