Tuesday Thirfts

Thrifting is like the lottery of fashion yet not so much a gamble. You can either have the best luck or the opposite. My ultimate favourite place to thrift is in Sydney's Crown Street. I'm completely blank as to which shop I bought these items from but it's the yellow building across the road from U-Turn.

I felt quite guilty buying the headpiece which is real fur because I couldn't help but think about my little bunny rabbits. The reason why I bought the fur was because I admire European women who style with fur headwear & coats. To me, it's just so feminine & luxurious. It's beautiful! I also found another vintage piece which is a leather skirt. The print reminds me of crocodiles for some reason.

Now, I bought this because I knew that my mum had the matching jacket at home which I'm in love with! When I tried it one, I felt as though they were made just for me. I understand that the skirt on it's own doesn't look very appealing but you must always look at a garment with possibility & potential. It's all about how you style it! I could picture this with a high neck or turtle neck white top & the matching jacket paired up with white sandal heels. As soon as I got home I tried on the jacket + skirt + fur headpiece + white heels & ka-pow! I felt like a Russian style queen hehe. Personally, I love to steer away from trends & pull off an amazing look. It's timeless! Also a great look for the autumn/ winter time. How would you style these items?
